Presley's first self given hair cut...):

Last Thursday I was working a late day, came home and found my dad asleep on his reclyner, my mom watching t.v. in her bedroom, and my sister Nelly was in her bedroom talking on the phone with the door closed...Where was Presley? Well I got looking around and lo and behold I found her leaning over the toilet cutting her own hair with a little pair of scissors!!! I was so upset I just started crying... It was horrible because she has the most beautiful hair...Well luckily she just cut the front part of her hair. I took some pictures and then I took the pair of scissors and cut more of her hair off along with some layers and blended it all in. So her hair looks like she just has some thick bangs. That day was one of the saddest days of my life.... Ha ha... I am just glad I got home when I did or who knows what her hair would've looked like!

Go Utes!

Can I just tell you how happy I am that the Utes won the Sugar Bowl the other day? I know everyone is making a fuss that they should do playoffs in college football... but hey, at least they came in 2nd... Anyways, Prelsey and I went to Roger's Aunt Sue and Uncle Gary's house for the game and it was so much fun... Presley took off playing with Roger's cousins kids and came back later looking like this...

Lol... she found some chocolate in a jar and attacked! She had wiped her hands all over on her football shirt also... It was actually pretty funny. Presley also loves football and still always says, "Go Utes!!!"

Too Much Snow!!!

During my 10 days off for Christmas Break Presley and I bought Bart a poinsettia for his headstone. We didn't make it to the cemetery on Christmas since it was such a crazy day, but we went a couple of days later. The roads weren't plowed at all at the Eureka cemetery. The snow looked deep, but it didn't look like we had to walk too far so I packed up Presley whom I had dressed for the weather and also picked up the poinsettia. I had on a pair of jeans and my skechers (I dont have any snow boots!) I put Presley on the ground to walk and about 10 feet later she wanted me to hold her, so I picked her back up and kept going up the hill... The snow went to my knee's and it was freezing cold outside!!! About half way to the headstone, I had to stop for a breather because I was so out of breath and my legs were burning ( I had ran 3 miles that morning.) By the time I walked through all the snow drifts and about 10 minutes later, we finally reached the headstone. You can tell by the picture how deep the snow really was... Presley and I hung out there for a while, until she wanted to go to the next plots over to see the other headstones (which were all about like 20-30 ft away) And there was no way I was going to walk that far in the snow knee deep. It was cute when we did leave the cemetery because she always tells her daddy bye at least 10 times before we actually drive away. She sure is a cutie and loves her dad very much!
